RECTRON Ltd. was founded in Taipei in January 1975 by a group of experienced semiconductor engineers. It soon became a recognized supplier of quality discrete semiconductors. In 1981, RECTRON increased sales through direct access to global semiconductor markets via exclusive distributors and agents. In early 1994, RECTRON commissioned a factory in China to improve its competitive advantage and increase discrete device manufacturing capacity.
