For a quality, authenticity or functional defect, the independent institution, test scope and acceptance criteria must be agreed before destructive testing. The written report forms part of the claim review.

Document the issue

Provide the order reference, part number, affected quantity, labels, packaging photographs and a clear description of the issue.

Agree the test scope

Before destructive testing, agree the independent institution, samples, test method, acceptance criteria and testing-cost responsibility in writing.

Obtain independent findings

The independent report must identify the order and part, the samples and methods used, the results and evidence of the alleged failure.

Authorise & resolve

After the claim is validated, Chip-seek confirms the RMA and approved replacement, credit or refund path.

RETURN QUESTIONS

Returns and refunds questions.

If your case is not covered here, contact us with the order reference and we will review the next step.

What are the return conditions?

Chip-seek accepts returns only after authorising an RMA for a valid nonconformity claim or otherwise agreeing in writing. Change-of-mind, convenience and over-ordering returns are not accepted. Returned products must remain in the condition received with original labels, packaging and ESD protection.

How do I start an RMA?

Report the case through the Contact page or email. For appearance, quantity or incorrect-part issues, contact us within 14 calendar days after delivery and provide the order reference, affected part and quantity, reason, and photographs of the products, labels and packaging. Do not return material until an RMA is issued.

How are quality disputes handled?

A quality, authenticity or functional defect claim requires a written report from an independent third-party testing laboratory or inspection institution acceptable to both parties. Before destructive testing, the institution, scope, samples, test method, acceptance criteria and responsibility for testing costs must be agreed in writing.

When is a return not possible?

Returns are not accepted for change of mind, convenience, over-ordering, unauthorised return, damage caused after delivery, or an apparent appearance, quantity or incorrect-part issue reported more than 14 calendar days after delivery, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

When and how will I be refunded?

Approved refunds follow the payment method and timing confirmed for the order. The team will confirm the expected timing when the return is authorised.
