Founded in December 1983 and headquartered in Taipei, TXC Corporation specializes in the R&D, design, and production of quartz crystal resonators, oscillators, and sensing components, including DIP and SMD quartz crystal devices used in mobile communications, automotive electronics, IoT, and server storage. Its photolithography process, under development since 2010, enables mass production of 1mm-series miniaturized products; 2021 capital spending mainly targeted advanced processes at its Pingzhen plant and capacity expansion in mainland China. Growing demand for automotive crystal oscillators in new energy vehicles is expected to raise usage from 80 units per vehicle in 2020 to 130 units by 2025.
