Since establishing Maixiang Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. in Hong Kong in November 2002, the company has continuously introduced foreign equipment and improved power inductor manufacturing processes. In June 2003, it set up a factory in Guanlan, Shenzhen, and established the company to focus on through-hole and SMD power inductors. It later set up an SMD molded and through-hole molded branch factory in Shenzhen in July 2008, and in October 2009 established Huanggang Maixiang Electronics Co., Ltd. in Huanggang, Hubei, to focus on high-current power inductor components.
