Solid State System (SSS) was founded in 1998 as an IC design company with strong international competitiveness and vertical integration capability. It was listed on the Taiwan over-the-counter securities market in 2007 with stock code 3259. Its head office is in Hsinchu, and it also has an office in Shenzhen, China to serve customers. In 2010, SSS mastered key MEMS technology and became the first Taiwanese company to launch CMOS MEMS microphones; its product lines cover flash memory controllers, USB audio controllers, and MEMS microphones.
